The renewed Calming Barrier Serum from Beauty of Joseon is a lightweight, water-light serum that soothes stressed or reactive skin while flooding it with lasting moisture. It leads on Green Tea-HA, an exclusive Beauty of Joseon complex pairing antioxidant-rich green tea with multi-weight hyaluronic acid, supported by a boosted panthenol (Vitamin B5) level that forms a moisture veil to help skin hold on to hydration. Niacinamide, centella asiatica and ceramide NP round it out into a genuinely barrier-focused formula.

The texture is watery and fast-absorbing, sinking in within seconds to a smooth, non-sticky finish, and it suits both morning and night use. It is fragrance-free, alcohol-free and pregnancy safe, and is listed as non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic, making it an easy everyday pick for sensitive, reactive, combination or acne-prone skin. This is the reformulated version, so the previous 30% mugwort formula has been replaced, with soothing and hydration now driven by Green Tea-HA and panthenol.
