The Beauty of Joseon Matte Sun Stick is a collaboration with cosmetic chemist and creator Ramón (@glowbyramon) — a portable, on-the-go SPF50+ PA++++ sun stick designed specifically for city life and seamless reapplication over makeup throughout the day. Unlike most sun sticks built for outdoor use, the formula is engineered to be smooth and non-clumping on repeat applications — the sebum-controlling Silica powder absorbs excess oil and gives a consistent soft-matte finish without pilling.

The UV filters are all chemical (no Titanium Dioxide or Zinc Oxide) — Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Ethylhexyl Triazone and Polysilicone-15 — providing broad-spectrum UVA and UVB coverage without a white cast. Artemisia Capillaris (Mugwort) provides a cooling, soothing effect with vitamins A and C. Camellia Japonica Seed Oil and Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil (Green Tea) add antioxidant and moisturising benefit. Centella Asiatica and Hyaluronic Acid keep the skin comfortable during wear. Star Ingredients

Silica powder – sebum-controlling pigment that delivers the matte, non-greasy finish and helps the stick glide smoothly over makeup.

4-filter UV system (DHHB, Tinosorb S, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Polysilicone-15) – chemical broad-spectrum filters tested in Korean and Spanish labs for SPF 50+ PA++++.

Artemisia Capillaris (Mugwort) – cooling and soothing, rich in vitamins A and C.

Camellia Japonica Seed Oil – moisturises and protects during sun exposure.

Centella Asiatica Extract + Hyaluronic Acid – keep skin hydrated and calm throughout the day.

How To Use

Apply to the face and body as the last step of your skincare routine, using a gentle rolling motion. Reapply every 2–3 hours. Note: due to the solid formula, avoid excessive pressure which can cause the product to separate.
