The Beauty of Joseon Red Bean Water Gel is a lightweight bouncy gel moisturiser developed specifically for oily and combination skin — the answer to the brand's richer Dynasty Cream for those who find conventional moisturisers too heavy. The formula leads with 44% Haenam Red Bean Extract (Phaseolus Angularis Seed Extract, 441,000ppm), one of the most celebrated ingredients in traditional Joseon Dynasty skincare, where women used red bean and mung bean to cleanse and balance the skin. Red bean is rich in saponins, which actively absorb excess sebum without stripping moisture.

A Triple Peptide Complex (Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 plus a range of skin-nourishing amino acids) works on wrinkle improvement and elasticity alongside the hydration. Beta-Glucan, Panthenol and Allantoin soothe and replenish, while Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (a stable vitamin C) adds brightening benefit.
